So How Do You Decide?

First - Do I like the way it looks.

In no specific order:
Size, blade and/or total length.
Blade profile and steel type.
Deployment / locking mechanism.
Handle material / profile.

Lastly and most important.
Maker and/or country of origin.
Price.

I like variety but typically buy US made and am willing to spend some $ to get what I want.

Price under $150. Though I've been looking at spending more than this.

No liner locks or frame locks.

Wharncliffe, modified wharncliffe, or sheepsfoot.

No thumb ramps.

Micarta or G10. Bolsters are nice, but not a requirement.

Liners are also a desirable feature.

I am still trying to get myself to bend a couple of these rules for a WE/Lundquist Black Void Opus.

Even if I also have "all that I need": it doesn't mean that I stop looking...

Tell me a bit more about the WE that you're looking for. The name is just awesome!
(A picture would help...)

price is secondary altho usually around 300 for near-new from exchange.
also a fan of fixed blades, 7" or so OAL SO CAN SCOUT-CARRY.

I would post pictures directly, but it seems that Imgur is in the process of locking me out because I refuse to pay for membership?

Damn! I like it too!
As soon as I collect what's already ordered: that's coming home with me!

If you search up pictures by members Dadpool and Keyman, you may see other things you like (because between the two of them, they end up buying all the knives I like, before I buy them).

All of the above for anything expensive.
1. Reputable brand
2. Blade shape, steel type
3. Comfortable handle
4. Flipper (unless it’s a spyderco or Benchmade)
*oh yeah, price too
