So... how do you display your collections?

Do you wonder which of your knives she would use to go Lorena Bobbitt on you? 🤣

Lol... I had not thought about that aspect. I'm always razzing her about always grabbing the largest knife in the kitchen for whatever she does, once telling her that if we had one available, she'd use a meat cleaver to peel a grape.

So... I guess I'll only need to keep my 119's, 120's and 124 hidden .

So caquino caquino your post got me thinking about something I could use for display purposes. I saw a few of the wooden tool chests that some have used and it reminded me of a possible gem in one of my grandfather's sheds. A very old Craftsman tool chest that has been in the same spot for about forty years, maybe a good bit longer. It was full of fairly useless items and the remnants of a vermin of some sort. I dug it out and brought it home. I spent a good bit of today disassembling, cleaning, greasing, and reassembling the chest. The finishing touch will be black velvet/flannel lining (ordered today) for the drawers and trays. I am pretty amped about getting it completed. Thanks Kindly for the inspiration.

I don’t have nearly as many knives as most in this thread, but I decided to make me a display case. I also found that I’m quickly running out of wall space so I decided to make it recessed, only the door extends past the face of the wall.
The wood is hard maple with a hard maple t&g back.

I still have a few knives to go to fill it up.
I’m also working on a Schrade display case from an old store display case.
