So how is the extra long winter treating everyone ?

I’m glad your home was spared. I can only imagine how much more destructive a tornado would be if it picked up some Busse knives….
FR though! That's hilarious. I said to my wife while she was trying to get ready to go to our storm shelter "Hold on.. if the worst happens I don't want these flying around so Im putting them in the safe." Granted I didn't want to lose thousands of dollars in guns and knives.. it did cross my mind that the Forsaken Battle Mistress might fly straight through someone's house at 200 mph 🤣

Glad it missed your area .
I know they show the worst destruction, but it showed a person home completely destroyed to the floor level and their truck thrown down the hill from the house. Luckily they had a shelter. I just can't imagine living in an area like that.
Yeah. The apartment I lived in before I moved out of Little Rock a little ways was ravaged., and Cabot (the next town over) got hit the way you're describing I think. Hell, that could've been thise people roof in my driveway for all I know. I'm definitely thankful to have the little underground storm shelter I have now. I know I'd be screwed if I still lived in the apartment I mentioned earlier.. especially with the babies and everything. Apparently we were supposed to get that stuff again last night, but I never heard sirens this time.. just crazy wind.

The well wishes are nice of ya'll, but I don't need it. The people that got wrecked do. It is appreciated though nonetheless 😁

That was the roof in question.. so I went to take that pic just now. Apparently the crazy wind last night blew half my shed on its side.(in the background)

I needed to upgrade anyway.. wood was starting to rot. Just gave me a reason lol🤷‍♂️

Utah is weird,

Been here almost 10 years and have never seen anything like this

I mean really this is April and about a foot of snow again in the valley at my house near Provo

over 800 inches up on the mountains this winter season Breaking all kinds of records.
Long summer in South Africa so I feel blessed as I despise Winter. 😆

Extra long my arse, we have most of the leaf canopy on the trees in Bama, according to the experts, it's the earliest ever

Been snowing today with more expected. Was zero degrees at cabin yesterday morning. Even the critters are sick of the winter- a moose walked into the lobby at Providence Alaska Medical Center Thursday and nibbled on some greenery. Studded tires are allowed this year through May 15. So looking forward to summer to get a bunch of projects done at property.

What part of Bama you from? I grew up in a little town named Glencoe. It's right next to Gadsden.

North Alabama, currently live in Rogersville, near Florence/ muscle shoals. Been through Gadsden a bunch of times heading to Anniston and the CMP

I know of it. That's really not far at all! Probably a shorter drive to you from my hometown than to Birmingham. That's cool.
