So, How Many Folders Should We Make In The First Run? . . .

There’s only ONE right answer!

And it is… drumroll please… just THE RIGHT amount!

And everyone knows that without proper testing in adverse conditions you can’t move past prototype stage! So I think that you should be sending at least 4 to Down Under for proper testing.
Robbo will split firewood in a place that never really gets cold… and keep his bikini lines nice and trimmed…
Andy will harvest some bambi meat and keep the fire stoked…
Currawong will take it into wilderness places that defines human logic…
I’ll cut up stuff like limes to go along with Takillya, meats and salads, uncountable amount of packaging at work… and I have still the base of inflatable spa to cut up to fit in the garage bin…

IDK man, I've never been much of a folding knife guy. The only thing I know a folder can do a fixed blade can't is fold in on your fingers when you don't want it to. Blood and other genetic materials can find places to hide making life for investigators easy.
But I'm a Busse fan so I'm interested - Jerry, change my mind about folders!

What about a robust slip joint
Strong lockup
Mid-thickish stock (for a folder)
Infi or SR101
Brass liners and pins
$200-$400 range
Future model expansion adding secondary knives/tools

I'd love to see what the Wauseon team could concoct along these lines... tail of newt, wing of bat....

im expecting a saber ground, liner lock. infi if we are luckyy. maybe elmax/sr101 (.15" thick)

Sabre ground INFI with penetrator tip, Jerry Busse patented locking mechanism, 6.5 oz or less and absolutely bomb proof.

Slicer ground Magnacut, Jerry Busse patented locking mechanism, 5 oz or less and slighlty less bomb proof.

Depends. Is it $150 300$ or 600$.

It would have to be a pretty epic blade for me to go from a small edc fixed blade back to a folder.

150.00 ?
200.00 ?

If they are under 500.00 I would be very pleasantly surprised, and buy 2 at least :)

Folder with the Busse name on 'em...

You know dealers will want in, fanboys will want in, so all comes down to how exclusive you want to make 'em...

I'd say at least 500-1000 in the 1st run just to get 'em out and guage interest...
