  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

So how tough are these new coatings?

snerk. i use my toys, but if someone dropped my favorite toy and did that, i'd club them like a baby seal on free seal clubbing day :> unless they bought me a new one ;) i'm less worried about wear and tear, as outright abuse, esp if they've been built to be accurate. course, i also buy USED knowing full well that some love marks are fine... just not impacts ;) the eotech probably could take it ;)

Lol, it's hard to argue with a guy with a 45 and a machax who just took your gun and chucked it down the driveway. Interventions are always tough love.

I stripped my BK2 about 3 months ago. Biggest mistake ever unless you're just going to showcase your blades...Needless to say I'm buying another BK2 to replace my stripped one. I hope I get this "new" coating just to see what exactly they changed.

Why a mistake? Are you having rust issues?

You can force a patina a number of different ways that will protect the blade very well.

Does this guy still talk to you? haha did you make a grown man cry?

Well feel free to send it my way neighbor, I'll be happy to send it off to a certain somebody for ridiculous modding.

Haha he just looked at me for a minute and said he can never could decide how people so obviously crazy live so long. He actually shoots that one all the time now. I offered to empty his vault and kick them all around the block for some urban camouflage. He said something I took as a no.

so the new tweeners are going to be laser etched with the name and logo......will the rest of the line (i.e. BK2) also come out newly laser etched???.....I would love an excuse to buy another BK2

actually, the BK2 won't :)

it's too touch. lasers can't touch it.

chuck norris personally punches each one to get that logo on their now. it's his only job anyway, so he does it real purty :)
