Use my new Lil Foo's 4. :D

With the blizzard coming, thought It would be a great night for a fire in the wood stove.
So to break her in... a little fire making. I really, REALLY like this blade.
The handle is super comfortable and the nuclear treatment on the spine is great...
Awesome pointy tip on this blade too!

I'll tell ya... it's a real pleasure to use. :)
She did really well with shaving off curls and making fuzz sticks.
Splitting down the fine kindling and a couple of larger pieces for the main braces.
Here's a shot with the curls & fuzz sticks in focus...

My fire steel with a little dryer lint in a piece of bark to get things going...

Nice little knife! Great pics too. Love the tight DOF, gives the shots a real intimate feel.

Having fun playing with the Canon 5D MkII that my wife gave me for Christmas. :)
And fairly new 50mm 1.4 lens.

Experimenting with drawing the eye to a particular place within the photo.
And at 2' away with a 1.4 you have a pretty narrow DOF. Like a 1/2" :eek:

Who did that work again? I've still got my LE that never sold. Dangitall. The last thing I need is ANOTHER contender in the "find me the best Busse small blade" contest. ARRGGHH!!

Damn it Doug!! You keep showing that sfno variant and sooner or later I'm going to take a grinding wheel to one of my standard SFNOs skull crusher pommel:eek:
 
Thats pretty light use for just "breaking it in" ;)

I think you needd to baton something, or chop, possibly skin something. :D


Beautiful mod though, it just begs being used
