So I did it --Now with pics--

Glad you like it! They are a great all around knife for those lucky enough to be able to carry a sheath knife. And they have a real visual appeal to me anyways.
The demeanor in which one carries and uses a knife can also have an effect on others perceptions, more so than the knife itself. I used to work in a warehouse that was also a semi retail/distribution environment. When using knives with customers around, an attitude of casual confidence never seemed to raise any hackles. It was just a necessary tool being used for its intended purpose.

DOH!

its a quiet moment at work, but the boss nixed me carrying the 113 on my belt
in his words, its not that the knife is too big, but the sheath makes it look huge
also in his words, i look like i am ready to go to war

LOL
anyways, it still will be nice for non-work days and hiking ... oh well :/

Sorry to hear about the bosses reaction to your knife.Imho,it's to nice a knife to use on the job anyhow.:)

For me, the 113 has been a very useful little fixed blade. The fact that it also looks good just sweetens the deal.

I also have size XL hands, and while I can get all my cutting done with the knife the way it is, I took advantage of the lanyard hole and tied some paracord to anchor my pinkie finger when I want to choke back for some extra reach.

Congrats and use it in good health.

thanks!
will do.

meh
i just bummed, he approved me carrying my gerber gator on my hip
but said no the the 113. i think the gerber is bigger opened, but it folds up smaller
