So I didn't think I was going to like this knife, but...

It chops as well as a FSH would.

About the only thing that could get in the way would be the skull crusher if you use a 2 finger grip with lanyard. The skull crusher feels like it would dig into the palm. But with a full hand hold, it is comfortable.

I have this blade, I got it a month or so ago. For me the grooves are spaced a little too far apart to be comfortable, but... I have found that a choked up grip is very comfortable for my hand, leaving the last groove unused. But I do love the blade.

I love my crusader mofo. It grooovy!!! The feel in reverse or standard grip is incredibly natural.

It is kinda small, it would have been nice if it had a 10 inch blade. Oh, well, looks good though.

This is and has always been the problem with finger grooves, they may fit some hands but they will never fit all. Therefore a large amount of people will be left with a less than ideal fit to their hands. I generally don't care for them for this reason alone as my hands are a bit on the smaller side than what would be considered 'average'. I imagine that most finger grooves are spaced to fit the largest number of hands possible and those on either end of 'average' will be left with a poor fit.

Damn bell curve.

Well it fits my hand quite well. But I have large palmed hands with medium length fingers.

As for the knife. Well, the jury is still out. Fighting knives are not my flavor, so this is a departure for me.

Well, for the one weekend that I owned a flying anniversary mojo, I was lucky enough to use it. I also had a HOFSH with me.

The unfortunate thing is that I didn't have the same edge geometry on them. This was before I knew of such things. With factory edges, I actually got better bites and less fatigue with the mojo. The skull crusher and serrations did it in for me. It's found a new home.

Serrations on n edge is a deal breaker for me, so I am glad to not have that on this one.

Oooo beautiful blade! That sheath is awesome as well. Matches great!

I have one like that, except with black paper. It's my favorite bottle opener, and as a bonus, you can also cut things with it.

Can you guys tell me the purpose of the bottle opener like thingy? Seriously!

theoretically, if you ever found yourself in a knife duel ( ala West Side Story ) an errant swipe by your adversary across the top of the spine would "catch" thus preventing you from getting your knuckles sliced plus afford you the opportunity to twist his blade from his grip or possibly break his edge or entire blade...theoretically...

did I mention this is how it works in theory? ;)

never had this experience, never hope to...

perhaps some operator here could detail some actual use instead of my anecdotal stories
