so i got a new axe

i got an antique firemans axe to work on and restore, i'll have pictures later tonight to post up. Any ideas of what i should do to it?

Do as little as you can to bring it back to life. The closer it is to original, the better.

i keep meaning to post up my pictures, i got some more axe heads, 2x giant broad axes, 2x broad axe hatchets, a double edged axe, and an antique wood splitter that was made by my great grandfather, i'll have pictures soon enough
