So I made my own bruiser g10 for my newest DSSF

Very cool, can't wait to see it.. Always interesting to the the Light Brigade treatment under the scales..

I will say that metal finish wise the argonne Is the worst busse I've stripped. The checks in the hole grind I expected, not to much student from a tglb. It's the sweep of the blade where the grind changes that is rough. The more I sand the more it looks like this knife wil still be considered competition finish, argh. I'm fitting this project in between so much other work. There will be a dedicated thread for the argonne just as soon as I can

Thanks for the updates brother,,, looking great. You're definitely getting quite the bruiser collection

DONE, thread coming today, thanks for the interest. It would have taken no time if the light brigade treatment wasn't there or it wasn't so rough

It's perfect, the feel is unlike any other knife. It's the security of a lanyard and the grips are thicker and fill my palm better. I don't really understand the thin grips with wide spaced knuckles. It's like you need a huge hand with Lil sausage fingers for it to fit without modifying it. This knife is the best

1/8" to the start of the nuclear meltdown radius

i have been wanting to buy a TGLB few times so bad , but i do not know the LB treament leaves how much steel at the tang , so i just curious in the thickness of web on LBed tang.
thanks

If Jerry makes it you can't break it, don't worry about it....

If I had to guess I would say 3 or 4mm. The point is to remove waste not structure and support. If it were skeletonized it would reverberate like a tuning fork.

This thread is making me want one. These are beautiful.

You can still order these, yea..?

{clicks over to Busse website}

(Not to keep taking away from the DSSF..)

Yes, the AA's are still up.

Man, I really should get down on one of these. The grinds are so nice.

Nice work on your AA, Breavis.
