Howdy CTS! I hear ya on the AFCK... I like the design m'self and have been (very passively) searching one out. Found a few coated blade versions and a few PS models, but I'm holding out for a plain-edge satin finish. It's tempted me to try the (albeit substantially lesser) ti Pika...

You can still find AFCK's here and there. In fact knifeworks still has a bunch of limited edition m390's if you want one of those. coated of course. That's where I picked up mine.
Then there's always ebay and amazon.

I had the same thoughts about the ti-pika. Exactly why I got one. I love the AFCK, but unless I can pick one up that is either used or not collectible in any way, I can't really bring myself to carry it. But the Pika II is an amazing knife for $40. And very reminiscent of the afck. Though, obviously a step down in performance and ergonomics.
