Nope, they are snakeskin that have been oiled with mineral oil.

I added a photo of the scales when they are dry. Pretty dramatic difference.

The snakeskin on these muddy ones looks strange to me.
 
That is a beauty. I like the color with the handles. Coco? looks kinda muddy or slightly darker
 
Bahh.......yeah nice score and story but slightly heavy on the Hype! Pull out a few of the really rare stuff Head!
 
He and Connie tried the stroller ploy, but the crowd was too dense... (plus all the mothers couldn't explain to their kids why that "baby" had a beard)
