So I want a ZT0630.....

So I want a ZT0630. I can't seem to stop looking at the knife. I have 2 ZT0350's, and EDC a Spyderco PM2. The PM2 does everything I need and want. And my ZT0350's are just cool.

But I keep going back to the stupid ZT0630. It's big. It's expensive. And I want it. Do I NEED a knife like that? Nope. I like the size of my PM2, it's perfect.

I'm also concerned with being able to sharpen the S35VN with my Spyderco Sharpmaker, I'm not much of a sharpener to begin with.

Then get it by all means! Also, sharpening S35vn will be slightly easier than s30v, which I assume is what your PM2 has.

You need it. ;)

You can certainly sharpen it with a Sharpmaker. :thumbup:
 
You don't NEED an 0630, but it's a damn fine knife that I think you'll really enjoy. Great design and materials, superior build quality, and a top notch warranty so you're not afraid to actually use it.

Here's a pic of mine, just to make things harder on ya :D

The ZT 0630 and 0620 series are the best made licensed Emerson Waves ever!

The original 0620 tanto models don't seem as popular as the clip point 0630.

The one caveat is that they're comparatively heavy specially if you're used to the lighter original liner lock Emersons.

With the newer 0630 you now have three choices with the last two being Limited (Sprint) Runs:

  • 0630 with S35VN & Black G-10 for $200
  • 0630CF with CTS-204P & Carbon Fiber for $240
  • 0630ORBLK with S35VN & Orange G-10 for $220
