I keep hearing the discussion of the knives is prohibited yet they are sold by major US dealers. They are even sold in the exchange on here??

You do realize Bladeplay aka Grindworx is a paid dealer and sponsor of the site as well as a Ganzo dealer lmao.

If the discussion of them was allowed. Everyone kept posting in the last thread that discussion of them was prohibited or not welcomed here because they are clones. So I want to know if we can talk about them on here being as we can buy them from dealers on here.

Yes. The old thread was locked for discussion of clones is what I assume when I read rebelson post. So I asked if the discussion/content/sales of (Ganzo Knives) was prohibited or not on here (Blade forums) being as sponsors on here are authorized dealers of them.
 
Discussion of clones isn't in the site rules it seems, but it never evolves into meaningful discussion, therefore its frowned upon.

A Ganzo knives discussion hmm...
It just somehow never gets beyond the cloning issues.
But in these difficult times, now is simply not the right time to discuss
the redeeming attributes of any foreign cutlery upstarts that chooses to disregard ethical practices.
Cheap and mediocre is not the way forward for folks who require genuinely built to last tools...

Well it seems that these threads are fair game for shit posting and infighting. Your first response was some less than a year old og member calling you an idiot. I'm sure that's well within the tos right there amirite?

Seems the shit posting is to get the threads locked.

What does how long he's been here have to do with the validity of his post?

Needler has been around long enough to know counterfeits and clones are social pariahs for good reason.

Discussion of Ganzo isn't against the rules..Sales of fakes/homages/clones (mostly BS words that mean the same thing; IP theft) are not allowed here.
Discussion of Ganzo devolves because of their past production of fakes/homages/clones. This is an enthusiast site and often rewards original works but the inverse is also true..so threads get locked.

By the way- This is also a family friendly forum..We discuss the topic, not each other. We keep the language PG with one exception to W&C.
 
Ganzo has earned their reputation here and doesn't deserve to be discussed in a positive way.

This is a quote from the owner of Spyderco, Sal Glesser.
Also, we met the Ganzo team. They came to our booth in Germany. The President, Sales manager and their group. Their behavior was so disrespectful, we had to ask them to leave out booth and forced them to delete the pictures of our prototypes their President took, around the "No Photos Please" sign. I am not a fan.
