Nope, you can post pics for free here. You just need a photo hosting site such as Yahoo Photos, and use the image tags.
Having a membership just makes it easier, and you dont have to worry about the hosting site cutting off outside access to the pics.

I'm no expert or computer whiz kid but I believe as a Basic Member you can post pix but you go through a host site on the internet. As a dues paying member you can post right from your computer - which I just tested tonight but I'm not 100% sure of what I did. Maybe practice makes perfect?
