So it all started with one hawk....

Tirburon, I'm really jealous of that JK Urban... I've been drooling over his hawks for months:thumbup:
How do the kill-devils measure up to a hawk like the kestrel? I'm really curious as to how the kill devils swing...

SS: The Kill--Devil is made of 3/16" stock so it feels nice and light in the hand. It is quicker in the hand than my other hawks. You will be very pleased with the JK Urban Hawk, it is has nice ergos and is quite robust. I have thought about ordering a second one without the spike.

I have a few hawks from different makers, and a few knives from John [JK]. I recently ordered a custom hawk from him that should be ready in late August. I asked him to make a spike hawk but in the size and handle shape of the Urban hawk. Looking at the one you have pictured, it is pretty much identical to what I ordered. Is that the Cassam hawk? I thought the Cassam had a bend in the handle.

The orange one pictured is the Urban Spike Hawk, and it`s serial #1. I`ve been thinking of offering them in 3/16" thick stock for quicker handling. The Cassam Tactical Hawk looks like this.
