You've done well, Grasshopper.

Pretty much. Best to include your address and contact information. When they get to you in their list, they'll want to contact you to be sure you still want the knives -- and to ask for payment.

I just set up a battery of e-mails -- each one direct to Jerry with a cc: to whoever is backing Jerry up (Amy-o tonight).

I try not to send more than two. It just makes things harder for the ladies.

SJ TAC was my first busse also. It'a all down hill from here, but the ride is great.

Amy will allocate knives to requests in the order that emails are received. If sufficient quantities of knives are available for them to process your request, they'll use the contact information to call or email you in order to arrange payment. Once payment is received, they'll send your package to the mailing address you provided.

I think Jerry's prep post said they'd be making as many as they needed to satisfy demand. I'm sure there will be PLENTY of these available.

Contradictory inferences can be made from Jerry's posts. On the one hand, "Very Limited" and "very rare" strongly imply just what they seem, very few blades available. On the other hand, "there is NO LIMIT on this special offer", referring to the number of knives that one can order, implies that there are quite a few blades available. I suspect that Jerry has made more than a few and that what seems to be a light turnout, from the number of responses here and elsewhere, give us all a very good chance of scoring our requests. Here's hoping. Pete

"With production costs rising dramatically since the last run of SJTACs more than 2 1/2 years ago, we will be offering these Special and Very Limited "Embrace The Suck" Satin Jack Tacs for the new regular price of a standard combat grade at only $267.00 ! ! ! (Sheath not included)"

But then:

"We need to know the total number of knives you want to purchase as there is NO LIMIT on this special offer!"

It's a bit confusing. Maybe he meant they just won't make any more after this batch, but the batch size would be determined by however many people emailed and how many each they wanted. That's what I'm assuming, but you know how that goes...:D
