Why I like the extra leverage the long handle gives you. When pulling through thick hard to cut stuff, the heel of your hand helps a ton. Smaller knives do not give you this in pull cuts. See how the very end of the SNG is at the end of my hand. This makes for a lot of power at the blade, being that its a smaller cutting edge backed up with a longer handle.
Sng under a Mili
Again, Sng on top a Mili....just showing they are about the same width in your pocket. So if a Mili, Endura is not to wide a SNG should be good to go.
DGG and CC SNGs are a tad thicker than a Delica BUT pack one hell of a tough blade... And the full flat grind lets them cut great also.
Nope I don't work for Strider... don't even really care for the people behind the knives... BUT their SNG is a GREAT knife. (CC and DGG being better IMO)
Thanks for the kind words, and yes the DGG did spend some time on my EdgePro. The DGG is for EDC, and the CC has the Factory edge setting for beater work. The CC SNG worked great on Christmas cutting through all the metal twisty things they put on toys. No chipping, but she was dull after the day was over. 5 mins on the Spyderco Profile set then finish her off with a Spyderco 306 UF and she is back to hair popping.
Lets do a quick little photo shoot... remember what I said about no extra lights, no light box, crappy camera, here is a behind the scenes shot (see thepaper towel I rip little pieces off for hidden knife stands.
