So many ZT 0560 for sale - is something new around the corner?

I think it was a highly-anticipated knife and when folks got them, they decided it didn't meet their needs as well as they hoped. I don't think it says anything bad about the knife, just that it's hard to judge what you are getting when you buy online. I was lucky. I was able to handle one in a knife store. I could tell right away that even though I was impressed with it, there was no way I'd ever be comfortable trying to use it unless my hands decided to grow some more. The 550 was closer to a good fit, but even it was a little too large. I've decided that with the ZTs it's probably best for me to handle them before buying. Come to think of it, that's my preference with any knife these days. Fortunately I have a good knife store about an hour away that carries a lot of the knives I would be interested in buying.

I guess I must be going against the trend. I carry my 0560 every day and love it. In fact I love it so much that yesterday I actually purchased another one (this time a 0561 though) from one of the usual dealers. I can't wait until it will get to me in a few days. :)
 
I'm surprised to hear so many people complain about the size of the 0560. How is too big for EDCM its perfect for me. I guess some people. Just prefer to carry really small knives? I don't get it, its crazy light for its size, carries perfectly, & has near perfect ergos. Its hard to say for sure, but it might be my favorite folder ever!
 
Agreed. Great knife. People probably realizing an almost 4" blade isn't for them. I have no idea truthfully.
