Just picked up a Spyderco Jason Breeden Rescue on sale, and I am really blown away by how much I like this knife. It has managed to bump the Southard from my pocket for the moment. I'm actually considering picking up another ( never done that before, other than with Para2s).

The handle ergos are just out of this world, feels a bit like it was made for my hand. This is the first folder I've ever made curly sticks with that is almost as comfortable as a fixed blade. It does take up a little more room in the pocket than the Southard, but it's not to bad.

Here's a paste of the specs

Been seeing some use in the kitchen too, so far it's worked great.

There isn't much out there about this unique blade, so if you have one, feel free to post about it!

I bought one last month, ammmmmmmazing knife! The breeden is probably one of my favorites in my collection.

Looks cool. How do you use a blade like that? Looks like it would be good for chopping on a cutting board.

I like mine. And I have to say, It came with what might be the best factory edge I've ever got.

Same here! All my Spydercos have been sharp, but this one seemed to be even better. I usually polish up every edge as soon as I get it on my paper wheels, this one didn't need it. Just finally touched it up this morning.

I've been using it just like any other knife, I haven't had any issues as of yet.

It works great in the kitchen, just to try it out, I cut up and sliced beet roots, greens, cabbage, avocado and lemon last night

There's only one thing that has kept me from buying this knife, and it's that damned swedge thing on the spine of the blade. My plan was to buy the knife and mod the tip into more of a wharnie point rather than the sheep's foot, but with that swedge there it just won't work. Otherwise it's a pretty sweet knife.

It does rock n' chop pretty well, But it's a little small compared to the santoku's I'm used to. Yes, I'm a knife nut in the kitchen too. lol.

this knife looks awesome, ive wanted one for a while. glad there are others who like sheepsfoot/rescue blades than me. vg 10 has far better edge holding that i thought it would. my stretch held a shaving edge on a paperboard test i did for over 350 feet

I'm so drawn to this knife for some reason. It looks like it would be a useful knife. The swedge looks like it might work with a firesteel.

Yeah, I think I'll have to order one.

Alright, you sold me. Just put in the order for one myself. Been eyeballing this for a while.

I think you will be very happy with it! Great choice!

Just gave the cutout/ swedge a try with a fire steel, it worked great!
