So now The Tale be Told.....

Thanks for the post, and your work on the forum knife:thumbup:

I agree, that Gus is one heck of a guy:thumbup: IMO this room is very lucky to have Gus around as a friend and Mod.

Thanks Steve and Gus for taking on the added pain in the rear to get us those knives. Your blood sweat and tears are definitely reflected in those beauties!

I'm not entirely sure if this is appropriate, but...
Actually Gus is still working on that project. I know that a few knives weren't up to scratch & have been sent back for rectification before they ever got past Gus.
I'd just like to add my commendation & thanks to Gus & Steve for all the effort they're still putting in to get the project put to bed.

 Thanks to 2 deserving "folks"(Steve & Gus):D! behind the scenes of THE knife, I was sure that there was plenty of angst and pain ( no pun intended Gus) !!;) So to you both sincere thanks:thumbup::thumbup:!

Umm, I'd just like to point out that this thread has no picture of the knife in question. I'll try to get one of mine up later today.

Thanks again guys for gettin' what is now my favorite EDC and thanks to the ASD for such beautiful scales.

Here you go.

Thanks again, you guys! I really enjoy my 2009 knife, and it's that much more special when its turbulent beginnings are celebrated! It's a hell of a tool, and I have it thanks to a heck of a coupla guys. So.... Thanks, Gus! Thanks, STeven!

Thanks gang. There are still a couple more to get out (freezergeezer and a replacement knife for Telcontar).

One thing unmentioned. Steven's doggedness is the main reason this knife turned out as good as it did.
