It’s a very big lost that aussies can’t really buy some knives from here aye! Should I try to talk to the sellers and convince them just sell something for me plz? Looking for a CRK sounds easy but hard. Lol

A few problems. You are new to the forum , It's an international sale which adds to risk, and Australia does have certain restrictions. Start wit some participation outside the exchange, research how others do thier international deals, and know and obey your laws(we will not take the time to learn them). There is a member Andy the Aussie that may be able to give you some good advice

Cool cool. I definitely would like to know and learn how to get these done. Price is listed in USD that’s all good. In Australia folding knives are totally allowed as far as I know. Some knives like stabbers or with multiple edges are not and I will not take the risk to import those as well. Thanks for your opinions. Nice to join the forum too, have learnt a lot.

Try to find a seller who send stuff abroad - that's easiest solution !
Australia isn't that bad destiantion at all.

I was sending different stuff there and there for decades,
but stopped completely
Mostly because of so many strange, sick or unknown rules and fees attached during recent years
(not two or three [years] !)

Most "funny" exoerience
I sold years ago expensive M9 to Japan
Some 2-3 months later I received guv letter that such knives are illegal in Japan !!!
OK
I'll never ship again
But few days lated I received "my" M9 back :^O
Big mystery what's happens to that buyer ...

That’s surely a wired thing and I totally understand if you stopped doing it after. Lol. My searching is only on some basic simple shaped folding knife at the moment. And purchased quite a few from online shop and they arrived directly without any problems so far. Well. Hopefully everything is going well for both you and me in the future. Lol

Hello, you can contact me at pagoda1970s (AT) gmail (DOT) com. I have a couple of CRK's for sale.

Yes it can be done and I have had very few problems once I established here, but you do need to participate outside the exchange so people get to know you a bit. I found that many sellers will work with you once you are known and understand the requirements for folks to ship from the US to here. You are correct that folding knives are fine here, there was a time however 2012 - 17 or so, that they were not and that is what many people remember. Assisted openers and autos are of course a no no. Single edge fixed blades are likewise OK.

Let me know if you need any direction.

I don’t sell anything abroad purely from a logistics standpoint. It’s quite a hassle when it comes to determining shipping costs sometimes, the risk of losing the item in transit increases and or being confiscated. I suppose all you can do is keep trying. Best of luck to you!

Yeah true. I dont worry about the time and other issues really, just the cost. well not that many I can find locally, No choise.

Could always buy from a dealer that ships internationally, or even better a dealer in Australia. I know there are quite a few there.

Some will not sell to new members regardless of the county they live in, and only time will solve that. While many don't like selling international(me included), Austrailia is not that bad, other than the added paperwork and shipping. 1 option is to use a shipping service, where the initial shipment is within the US and they forward the package. With this the seller would only be responsible for the 1st leg of shipping(US). You should be able to get what you want. It will just take some added patience
good luck
Even if the ad implies only US sales, it never hurts to ask, some personal interaction is sometimes all that is needed to change that. While I don't much like to send international, I often consent after talking to the buyer. We all understand the love of knives is not just in US :)

Shipping to or from is quite expensive. I buy quite a few vinyl records from Australia, the shipping is often half the price of what the record is.
