So, talk to me about ..... Case Mini CopperLock

I pulled the trigger last Saturday on a used Mini from the 'bay with natural bone handles. Between the post office being closed yesterday and the ice storm we're supposed to be getting tomorrow, I'll be lucky to get it this week! Reminds me of the old Carly Simon song "AnticipA-A-tion" !!! (If you know the song, you'll understand my spelling; if you don't, never mind) :D

Anyway, thanks for all the posts AND the great pictures!

Great knife. I call them "the perfect ones", just because of their design.

Nice stag on yours M-Hawg

I'm liking that green bone kodiak has. the only green boe I ever saw was in a SMKW catalog, but those pics make it look a bit translucent.Nice shade of green too.

Thanks for the compliments. The big one came with a tin and belt buckle

After reading some of this thread, I had decided to pickup one of these myself, ended up with 2. One is a lightly used fullsized wharncliff in yeller handles and a cv blade, the other is a brand new mini ss copperlock in amber bone. The mini copperlock imo is PERFECT in design, the wharnie is nice but I like the mini better despite the lack of a CV blade.

This will in all probability be my EDC for the next.... 10+ years or till I lose it! :D

I agree, there's really nothing I'd change about my mini copperlock. I'm sure you'll love it.

The clip on the blade is really nice and pronounced.

Hi navihawk! I see you have both a mini and a full-sized copperlock. I haven't even got my mini yet, but am already thinking about the full-sized. It sounds like the mini's carry real nice in the pocket - probably even in khakis or dress slacks. How about the full-sized one? I probably wouldn't think of carrying the big one in khakis/dress pants, but do they carry ok in blue jeans? The reason I ask is that the longest edc I have to date is 3 3/4" closed, and if I remember correctly, the full-sized copperlock is around 4 1/8" - 4 1/4".

Thanks!

The reason I bought the mini was for pocket carry. The large one is a bit big for the pocket, although a trapper is the same size. The large copperlock comes with a belt sheath, at least mine did.

Necro-bump

Decided on the Mini Copperlock as gifts for my groomsmen - nice and thin, only one blade simplicity and the lock is nice for my non knife-savvy buddies.

Getting em in Bermuda green to match the wedding colors.

Let's try to limit reopening old and dormant threads to bringing something substantive to the discussion in future. Thanks.

A couple of months ago, I got a new SS mini copperlock in caramel bone....very nice. A small and very slim knife, a real joy to carry in the pocket. I would like one in CV if I could find one. I also carry a Buck 55 but I find it just too small for my big paws.
