So the other week I was going to go beat on some stuff, Grabbed ol' ironsides then looked around for a minute. Hmmmmmmmmmm.....

Well.....%*#! Guess I never bothered to make myself a sheath for it before, That's somewhat inconvenient at the moment. Thought about it for a few minutes then remembered I still had an extra stock sheath I tucked away for a project.

Dug around in the shop for a few minutes annnnnnd

Tadaaa!

No wait....Forgot it fell victim to a backburner idea. Seems to be missing a few pieces. Dug around a little more.

Getting closer, Found the screws too. Great now what..... Hmmm well grabbed mah trusty skizzers and mosied on out to the shop for a few. A bit of chopping type stuff later....

Couldn't remember why I didn't finish this project before, Until I put the knife in the sheath then I remembered I threw this one clear across the shop the last time we met. Why? Well my stock sheath requires both hands, the power of greyskull and a double hernia to remove the knife from it. Undaunted and armed to the teeth with a heat gun it relinquished ol' ironsides this time.

So now I guess I really do have something for everyone when it comes to the 2. What do I call this one? Sheath backer, bk-2 floppy thingy fixer upper?

One project down this week, 2 to go.

Breath new life into your factory BK2 sheath with a shot of Sky-agra! Introducing the rigidizer, get rid of the floppy sheath blues!
 
Wow I like it alot! Very nice looking and a fantastic idea! I personally LIKE the factory BK2 kydex sheath, but like nearly everyone, DON'T like the absurd/floppy nylon belt web that's attached to it. This idea you have here is awesome, it "perfects" a great sheath (that had a huge weakness).

Are they available on your website? If now when? :)
 
That's certainly the best stock sheath I've ever seen, but did you do anything to resolve the dulling issue? A bit of leather in the edge groove?

Me want 2 one black no firesteel loop and one light brown with firesteel loop and spark.

I dont even want to know the price
 
Well that didn't take long. Half a dozen emails already asking for a altoids pouch. Already in the works, just not for a week or two.
 
can ya make a pouch that the straps fit too the slots in the bk2 sheath i've got one made of cordura but leather would rock with the leather back!??

Nicely done! I've always liked the factory BK2 sheath once the floppy was replaced with a tek-lok, but the leather looks much nicer!
I'm sure it feels better on the belt too. Great idea!
 
I'm already too busy. I don't wanna be more busy. It will include the hardware, The Fix..... not as catchy as Skyagra but I like it.
