Ordered 'The Fix' earlier today. I've been looking for just this item ever since I purchased the BK2 last year. Thank you Skystorm!
As for loosening the atomic vice grip hold that the sheath has, I inserted a popsicle stick in between the two halves, flush with the top of the opening. I then inserted it, from the opening end, to the first grommet for about thirty seconds in boiling hot water. Removed it and placed it in a bowl of ice water which set the plastic in it's new more open position. It still has a tight hold, but no longer have to dislocate my thumb to remove the Knife. I hope this will help those like me that don't own a heat gun.
