What a great Christmas! In addition to having a great time with my family with NO tantrums and crisises, I got some cool books. Knives: Points of Interest volumes 2 AND 3, Knives 2002 and two shop publications from Lindsay Books. And, best of all, a metal cutting bandsaw from my Dad! Hope everyone else made out as well! :)

I got two knives! Both fantatsic. Here is a pic of my new EDC.

Well, I didn't get any knives for Christmas :(, but I DID get the money to get my Seiko Quartz 150m Dive Watch repaired.:).

Spydie Native FRN
Spydie Chinook
Camillus EDC 154CM
Camillus ARCLITE 420HC

also got a 204 Sharpmaker which I used to put an edge back on my Kershaw Blackout, on the downside, before christmas festivities began, I dropped my OE Magna and broke off the tip, will see about sending it in :(

Overally nice christmas, I lubba my new knives passionately!

So far all I got was a Case natural bone Sowbelly. The day is not over yet. There is still hope, and my wife has some more for me.

NO watches!! :(:(:(

If you count the stuff I bought for myself in the last two weeks weeks under the heading "Christmas Presents from Wife" I got the following:

Craftsman 1 hp 2" x 42" belt & 8" disk grinder

12 EA 220 & 440 grit belts for same

3Ft .125 x 1.125 ATS-34 (think first neck knife)

Craftsman particulate matter grade respirator (with extra cartridges)

8' dual tube flourescent light to mount over grinders

Nikon Coolpix 775 Digital Camera so I can post pix of my lame ass attempts at making knives (and send pix of me playing Santa last night (in full regalia) for a bunch of little kids).

Copy of Max Payne video game (terrible, involves lots of guns and violence...hehehe).

All in all a pretty good haul

Of course non of this compares to the 90 miniute conversation I had with my Mom who's in the hospital recovering from a brain aneurysm. That was priceless.

Sorry to hear, Tom. But wouldn't you just drill holes in them??? ;) Hope your Christmas was wonderful, even if it was watch-free.

Besides some great time with my wife and daughters, 2 of the greatest gifts I've ever gotten for Christmas.
The Godfather DVD Collection (the holy grail of movies to me)
and a gift certificate for a glider ride at a local airport.
I am so psyched!
Merry Christmas all,
Lenny

BTW, I bought myself a small Sebenza the other day.
Should be here today or tomorrow.
