After we opened our own gifts to each other, we went to her parent's house for a great dinner and "more" gifts. :) That sneaky woman had ordered a very special knife from A.G. Russell that she had delivered to her father's house so I'd be sure and be surprised. AND I SURE WAS!!! It was the carbon fiber Klotzli that I had been wanting. It's a beautiful Swiss knife. (Carbon fiber is my favorite scale material!) Razor sharp is a phrase that is used quite often--but THIS knife, WOW! All I have to do is "look" at it and the hair jumps off my arm in fright! I expect to cut a hunk out of my finger within days! :p (Maybe minutes!)

Santa was very kind this year; delivering a new HP printer, an OTIS Deluxe gun cleaning kit, a Wilderness Instructor's belt, and very cool cufflinks (with little working compasses in them).

But the best delivery was from Jerry Busse's Wisconsin-division of Santa's North Pole workshop, a Mr. Mojo LE with custom serial No. 888. Just in time too, because he's discontinuing this model.

Here's a pic (I put the Lg Sebenza is in there just for size reference):

Happy Holidays & Happy New Year everybody!

From my children: A Rotring roller-ball pen (think: corporate kobuton)

From my sister: cologne and after-shave

And, from my incredible wife: A Gerstner 52XL golden oak tool chest for my knife collection.

Life is GOOD!

No knives AS USUAL. No problemo! I took care of that myself BEFORE Christmas.;)

But, I did get a really warm pair of socks made of Llama fleece, the EXACT same shirt from my sis-in-law as last year - I mean the exact one. Amazing. I also got a can of chocolate - coverered sardines and, was not surprised to also recieve a tin of curiously strong wintergreen Altoids.

Al,

Now I think I've heard it all...Chocolate-covered SARDINES as a Christmas present. What...Did someone think that you are a cat with a "sweet-tooth"?.:D.:D.

(Strangely enough, 'tho, chocolate-covered sardines really doesn't sound all THAT bad.;).). Meow.:).

No knife this year but I did receive a note that the Randall I've been lusting for is on order and will be in the Chrsitmas stocking in 2003.

I got a bunch of crap:mad: No really, my wife got me some clothes, powertools:D (Porter Cable of course), and a Craftsman gift certificate. So, I ordered myself a Lightfoot Night Strike. What can I say, I wanted a new knife for Christmas.

I did NOT get ONE knife. BUT I did get a great HP scanjet 4400C, a Citizen eco-drive titanium Skyhawk, a Braun Syncro-razor, and a chance to see the expressions on my wife and kids face when I surprised them each with one gift that they did not expect to get, and figured I had NO CLUE what it was they EACH actually REALLY wanted.
PLUS, a gave my soon to be 21-year old, his FIRST HANDGUN!!!!!

It is MORE FUN TO GIVE than to get.........wolf

:D :D :)

Unfortunetely I got absolutely nothing for Christmas. Hhhhmmmm... I think people around me are slowly starting to catch on that I'm Jewish. Oh well, all those years getting Xmas presents was pretty good.

However, I'm trying to save up every last penny for the following few knives:

Fixed blades:
Any Strider, but especially the EB-T.
SOG Trident
SOG Seal 2000

Folders:
SOG Sogwinder2
Emerson CQC-7
Any Strider folder
Also the Buck-Strider( considered the best folder by Spec ops equipment).

No sharp things here also..Wife and I got a VCR,microwave and a comfy leather chair so we can veg even longer in front of the computer..Wife is getting dinner this Sunday at the place of her choice and I got a larger barbell for my tongue piercing..Gonna try to trade a custom fixed blade I have for a Emerson PSark or Commander to get my XMas blade fix..:D

got some CD's, clothes.ets but also a few cool items:

richard marcinkos book 'detatchment bravo', a signed edition!!

a CS spike in my stocking

a buck/strider tanto folder (large)

3emerson skull clips for my EKI's and a buds

I didn't get any knives, but I did get a sub to Knives Illustrated (and Shooting Times). I got several books (some Foxfire books and the third book for LOTR). My wife and I got lots of Lowes gift cards (we just bought our first house).

My boys gave me a Becker Brute and my brother gave me a Spyderco 204 Sharpmaker, so Santa was very nice to me this year.

A good friend gave me a nice small fixed blade from Gary Bradburn. I'm not up to par with the lingo, but it's a Japanese style knife, with a nice temper line, blue ray skin handle under black cord wrap, with a piece of pearl under the wrap. SWEET!

I also bought myself a Spydie Delica.

I recieved alot of neat gifts but knife-wise I got a CRKT BladeLOCK from my wife and a Camillus Yello-Jacket small lock-back from...
my mother-in-law!!!

Cheers,
Allen.
