so what do you think about the Military

I'm still dying to get my first mili which is the ti-fluted one I pre-ordered back in April. If that doesn't go through then my first mili will be the 2 m390s I pre-ordered from KW for next year.

I like it more than the Manix II but less than the Para. It is a large lean machine

I have some truly great knives. Custom Emersons, Sebenzas, a couple xm-18s, all truly great. But I find myself carrying my Ti-Millie everyday. Can't get past the practicality and ergos. Simply great knife for the price.

as others have said, the military shrinks in use. at first it will seem absolutely huge but once you carry it around and use it, it feels fine.

IMO every knife nut should at least try a military. its an awesome knife.

Love it - use the heck out of mine. Can't go wrong getting one. IMHO best liner lock out there.

Personally, I don't like the Military. I tried out every one the knife store had (8 in stock) then I bought the one that felt "good" to me. It wasn't a quality issue at all; something just didn't feel right to me. I won't buy a knife that's set up for tip-down only, and the Military is. I thought I could get over it. I'm also a lefty, and the Military is a right-hand only knife. Again, I thought I could get over it. It also didn't feel hefty enough for me (I like a knife with some weight). In using Enduras and Cara Caras, I have found them to be great EDCs. I'm EDCing a Resilience right now, and it's pretty close to perfect.

I'm a lefty, and I love the Military--I did, however, get the left handed version. You can find them floating around the exchange forums for under or around $100. Tip up/Tip down is personal preference; I used to be all for tip up only, but on a knife the size of the Military I can definitely appreciate tip down.

I like it. Big, light weight knife. I do find it interesting that the new Paramilitary 2 has a lanyard hole that is maybe a wee bit too big and the Military has a lanyard hole that is definitely too small. I think more people would like the Military if the option for tip up were offered. Maybe a larger lanyard hole and tip up/down will be in the Military 2??

The Military is a great knife, but it's just too damn big for me. It has way too much handle, in my opinion, and the grip is very confusing with the clip on one side, a giant cutout on the other for the liner lock, and then the huge butt. It wasn't uncomfortable... there was just a lot going on.

I will say, though, that the Military is a MEAN cutting. I think it's because of the size and angle of the blade that the Military has such immense cutting power for a knife.

I wanted to buy a military but I'm going to wait for the military 2. I can't wait for it to come out
