Thanks my friend! It is my 10th wedding anniversary today and I think my wife is shooting for sainthood. It is a very blessed time and fortunately I can remember where I came from enough to appreciate where I am. I hope all is well with you and yours.:thumbup:

I was making gobs of money keeping the rich people rich and sort of lost myself in the process - I hated the person I became. Excess is a pretty nasty and evil thing... I was fortunate enough to wake up, quit my job, earned a masters in education and now teach high school history to at-risk kids in a public school in west harlem. I'm on the bus to work now and wake up every morning looking forward to teaching and my students. It feeds my soul and I love it.

Life has fallen into place ever since and now in about 2.5 months I'll be married...

Well said Brother!!! I have to say I have learned from my past for sure but it's the present that I can effect change. Enjoying waking up, living life to it's fullest will put a smile on your face and then it spreads to your heart. Others start to take note and the spreading continues, that a wonderful thing.

Congrats on the future Mr. and Mrs. are certainly in order my friend.
 
I gave up my car and walk/ ride my bike to work every day. So I guess I gave up life in the country for the city.
