Y'know, I agree with Tok - I can feel a chemistry between Santa, his red suit, and a black handled/bladed, tactical knife. Maybe because the knife would match his black boots. I dunno.

I think that Santa has 2 knives - one folder and one fixed blade. The folder is either the BM AFCK (awesome observation, Easyrider) or some type of Strider - very tough, very utilitarian, very effective. The fixed blade may very well be a puukko in a deep pouch sheath.

Sometimes, I bet he breaks out a country-specific knife. When in France, he pockets an Opinel; when is Switzerland, an SAK; etc.

You ever get hit with one of those? My buddy has one and we were playing around with it, he hit me VERY lightly and I thought my arm was going to fall off. It hurt like crazy, I definately wouldn't want to be hit by one going full speed.

I actually don't know what he is using right now, but I do know that he used to use a small desert ironwood inserts classic sebenza. How do I know that? Well he told me only yesterday that he has decided to give his old knife to me for Christmas, and it's the sebenza!
