So, what was your first busse?

Well my first order back in the 90's was a a box with SH's, BM, MS. Not sure which one I pulled out first?

Crushenator, don't get one, if you do, you will get the fever and not be able to stop. This steel doesn't even feel like any other steel I have ever seen. It feels much denser and with very strong reminiscent of forged steels. Hard to explain.

My first was a desert tan Assault Shaker. I like smaller blades (6" or so at most).

ATS-34 Steelheart back in 1992. Paid about $190 for it which included a Busse patch. Still have them both.

John (Trough Stomper)

BA3 with snakeskin micarta.

With a sweet rattler sheath by Leatherman.... this one is being passed to my kids.

My first was a natural outlaw E which I disposed of the very next day. I hated the feel of it. I have an AD now and just love it.

The first one I bought was a 1/4 inch Satin Jack. It was a new "limited" run model. At least that's what they guy said.
The funny thing is the last Busse I got was a 1/4 inch Satin Jack. And the one before that.
Wait, I'm seeing a pattern.

Meaner Street with a satin blade and black paper micarta EDC handle. I'm in love, I'm all shook up!

Basic 9, I sold it long ago. Kinda wish I would have kept it. But it has been replaced by some other really cool blades

:D:D

An EU-17 Magnum back in March of this year. It now has a (decently done) zero edge on it and is my only Busse user at this time.

Meaner Street with black crinkle and snake skin micarta. Still can't put it down.

Stay Strong & No Regrets!
Brian

First was a SHSHII picked up from Jerry at a preparedness show in Indy around 1997/8....then SHBM, BA, MS within a couple of months afterwards. At one time, had 18 or 19 of them but down to my SH Variant, SHBM (that's made a trip on it's own ;) and my Leaner Meaner. Already planning on getting some more though, WITH the wife's blessing :D

The first Busse that I ever ordered was a Satin Jack TAC. The first Busse that I acquired was a black crinkle finish/snake skin handle Meaner Street from the company store. I haven't been able to stop since then.

Dan

First owned was/is a Meaner Street with satin and snakeskin that I ordered from Skunk.

That was in May of this year.

Rick - rapidly lost control

First Busse for me was a unused Satin Jack 3/16" CG with logo. I got it a little over a year ago. I sold it on Ebay. I have bought a couple since then.

:D

Silas, then tell us, What's your 2nd first Busse........
Noisy Bastids like me want to know with having to read the enquirer.

My first Busse was a SHe back in '99, though I discovered Busse way back in 95 when I should have started collecting! :o The knife that got me started was the SHSH that the skeleton is holding in that casket in the ad on the back of SOF. Being a poor college student I couldnt even think of getting one, kicking myself now, and I've been hooked ever since.

I dont have that original SHe, but it didnt take long to replace it with a SHe with a rather unusual colored handle. :D and I did finally manage to get my hands on one of those BBSHSH2's like the one in the ad. :D:D

My first was a Magnum EU17 I got for Christmas... If only I was rich, I would be up to my eyeballs in Busses!! :D
