Slipjoint pocketknives are probably my single greatest passion when it comes to knives, and Camillus makes some wonderful ones. My personal favorites are the old bone handled Cartridge Series knives. Those Cartridge Series knives were simply gorgeous and built like a brick $%!@house. If you ask me, the CCC-2 30-30 knife had the best small game blade ever to come on a slipjoint. Tracking down one of those knives is a MUST for any traditional outdoorsman. Ive never had a slipjoint that more embodied the spirit of traditional outdoor hunting.
Now
If Camillus were to reintroduce that pattern in bone and carbon steel
.. Id take twelve of them. At least twelve.
I always regret missing out on the bone handled Catridge Series camp knife. That hurt.
