So where's the karahawk?

Oooohhh....I hadn't seen this one yet. Consider this wave lovin' junkie signed up!

I was at the SFO on Sept 25 and it was not there. Before we left Colorado we stopped there again on Oct 2 and the Karahawk proto was on display with an ETA that was relatively soon. A sign might have said November, but don't quote me. I might have a picture of it; I will check.

I know Spyderco doesn't like to give ETAs, so don't blame them if I am wrong! :o

I got to handle the knife and was impressed with the quality/fit and the secure grip. I don't know anything about karambits though, as a disclaimer. The use of liners to create a finger-hole is pretty cool. There is some flex to the liners, but I suppose that is normal and a non-issue.

Thanks for the scoop.

Does anyone else think Spyderco waves are better looking than the Emerson's. It maybe because I do not like the look of many Emerson's except the Karambits but I find the waves on Spydercos to be more attractive. I am looking forward to this knife to see how it will compare with other Karabits and its capabilities.

Just preordered mine, it will be the first krambit for me as well. Only the second time to preorder any knife. Just got my 2 endura super blues in from preorder.

The Karahawk brought me back to Bladeforums after being away for a long time. Tho I did lurk some. Anyways, I'm waiting on this knife.
