So, which Busse is the best Rope-Slasher?

In honor of St. Paddy's Day yesterday, and I doth quote:

"Yew and yer stewpid rhope!" LOL I gotta go watch that movie again.

Charlie Bronson always had him some rope.

where is the video that used to be on the old site with a lady cutting 10 1" ropes with a Basic 9 ?

My friends and I slash 1.5" rope with our Chopweilers and mid-size knives, but the 2" is tough to get cleanly with mid-size, in my experience. I had a thinned/Banned CGFBM I could get the 2" with sometimes, but not consistently.

We love to show it to "new guys," their jaws usually hit the floor.

With the NMFBM, the hard part is putting the brakes on after it slides right through!

I had seen pics of 16 one inch hemp ropes with a Shiva Ki Spirit blade.

It is a tough balance between weight and velocity. Seems the best designated rope cutters have a nice distal taper. So they have more quickness, but still plenty of mass and blade length.
