I want to get a hawk sometime in the near future. I want to shop around and see what all is out there. I am looking for a "traditional" style hawk with hammer poll and decent sized blade. Wood handle would be fine, but I wouldn't turn away something synthetic if its a good product. I will mainly use this as a small camp hatchet and to strap to my backpack when hiking. But I would also like something I could throw and play with while camping. I know there is the CS trail hawk and rifleman hawk. I wanted to know if there are any other good companies with similar designs and what the prices are. Any info would be great and links would be awesome.

Steve at Coal Creek forge is a great guy to deal with and makes great hawks. I ordered 6 throwers and he had them made and shipped in less than a week.
