You have to appreciate it for its uniqueness. The hump in the spine could almost be made into a draw blade. Ha!
 
I would love to attach some split rings and treble hooks in the holes and cast it for Bluefish off Cape Cod, I am sure the Blues would crush the Seahorse. I'll take it!
 
That's an expensive-ass lure. Bet if the line or the leader got cut you'd be sick. Nothing short of a landed 1K-lb tuna would justify it.
 
The Nuclear Seahorse was supposed to be sold in a Closet Ganza. A couple years ago Jerry had the idea of small, very limited run ganzas randomly throughout any given day.

If I remember right, there was only ever 1 though, and it was for the Pregnant Dodo

After that, the Seahorse faded into lore and jokes......kind of like tacoflauge

Also the Desert Warfare BWM (w/ & w/o serrations), Polar Vortex BOSS St, & Magnum Bear Cub were offered as "Janitor's Closet" offerings. :)

The Desert Warfare BWM had a ganza? I thought they were a KC thing only. Man, you don't see those at all anymore, especially the set. They looked great.

Forgot about the Polar Vortex Boss Street, that that was a Janitor's Closet

And spaced on the Mangum Bear cub being a closet ganza, hell I can't believe that was back in 2012


Okay, so you're right. But the Dodo was the only Janitor's Closet to happen in the middle of the day ;)

Pretty much the way I remember it....and its been a while glad they are making an effort to bring back those ganzas....:thumbup:
