I used to live about 20 miles from Iola, but live further away now. Still, it is much closer than Hotlanta!

Krause Publications does a good job with sponsoring the show. If a little town of 1,100 people can support 130,000 like they do for the car show, then I think they could handle a blade show as well! :thumbup:

2006 was my first too -- and it was a ball!

I didn't know you had to get there well before the show started to get in on the frenzy around the trough. By the time we got there it was all over but the crying.

Lesson learned! I'll be there nice and early this time...

That Car Show is run all by volunteers now... quite the story behind that.

It has always been run by volunteers, as it was the main fundraiser for the Iola Lions Club. Krause Publishing has been a main sponsor however. I've volunteered at the car show in the past (great way to get free admission )

They definitely have the capacity for a Blade show as well.
