So Why Bark River knives

So smitten am I by the bug, no sooner does a Barkie arrive than I'm contemplating the next. Here is the one that just arrived:

Mini-Northstar with curly maple scales. This sheath is by far the nicest of them all:

Stretch, that is one nice looking knife, love the maple. I have been contemplating the mini NS as well...it never ends:D

Gotta love the Barkies! Lately I'd been collecting another brand that is a very different kind of knife, and the Bark Rivers are by comparison a breath of fresh air. Very light and agile, and straight from the shop with a truly perfect convex edge.

That mini is sweet Iuke12, and Bark River is getting closer and closer to the ideal sheath! One nice thing about this new knife: for the first time (in my collection, anyway), BRKT put the steel type on the blade...right underneath their maker's mark. Nice touch...I like it.

What are the dimensions on that knife? Thanks. BILL

Hey Bill,
The mini Northstar is not a large knife...just a nice one ((( :D )))
12c27 steel .17 thick (just shy of 3/16"), 3-3/4" blade, 7-1/8" overall EDIT: Steel is .11+ (just shy of an eigth...I just mic'd it)

Beautiful collection Mikey!

anyone know where I can Buy the Boundry Rider knife? For that matter anyone know how I can contact the company? All help would be useful.

I like the variety of handle types offered . Plus the no BS steel choices .

For me, Bark attracts for many reasons. Function, form. Materials. Selection. The ability to interact one on one with the maker. Incredible warranty. Variety. Economy.

To name a few things....

As someone mentioned, one of my favorite things about BRK&T is that they offer SO MANY different handle materials on all of there models. I like the ability to pick my design, choose an exotic wood and mosaic pins if I prefer and get it at such a reasonable price with outstanding customer service to back it up.
