That's what everyone is so excited about? :barf: Spyderco doesn't make many knives that decidedly turn me off, but that is certainly one of them.

To each their own. I think it's one hell of a sexy knife. Cut's like a laser too.

I'm very happy with mine so would be pleased if the sprint run was deemed to be worthwhile. I'm not even asking for another run! The H-1 version is likely to be on my shopping list too though.

I'm still waiting for my Tek-Lok to turn up so I can actually use it for work like I intended, hence I haven't commented on it much yet in the forums since receiving it.

Don't knock it until you've had it in your hand (or, more importantly, used it...I've never knocked a knife without using it...not even a Dark-Ops!!!!! ). As SMC said, to each their own. Personally, I've always been a 'function-before-fashion' kind of guy. The thing is, I find the SWICK to be a functional AND beautiful knife. Just my opinion.
