SO you guys like cats?

unfortunatly people have a habit of dumping cats in my neighborhood. especially pregnant females. as a result i have 8 cats. when the shots and vet visits come due the bills can add up, but its a responsibility i chose when i took them in, and the rewards heavily outweigh the costs.

Niki was a rescue cat, for over 15 years she was my most loyal dog. She played 'Mom' to 4 dogs over her life.

She literally had 9 lives, but finally used them all up. She was hit by a car in 93, I didn't put her down as the vet suggested, and enjoyed her company for another 12 years !


RIP Nik !

don't currently have one, the Mrs. wants to wait until we have a yard for it to play in. my family always had a cat growing up, though, the last one was a russian blue named grace jones. she was great, would sit patiently by the door when she had to go outside, and would only go to the bathroom in the neighbors' yards.

My great big fat orange tabby named Duwight wouldnt stop crapping outside the box, so he went to my fiances' sisters farm.

Our only current cat is a little buff tabby named Doreen. She is the dumbest animal in the house, and that includes a ferret and a few spiders in the basement corners. At least she is soft, I guess.

I am more of a dog guy.

I love cats, almost as much as dogs Here is an old one of my girl Pallet. She is an indoor/outdoor cat like all of the cats we have had. They just show up near the barn as kittens and we let them in the house. I will see if I can find some newer pics later. Great thread!
