So you want a forward curving khukuri? A visiting village kamis makes one for us.

I would just like to say that Forward Curving #1 (pictured above) looks even better in person. The korda and chakma are large and useful and decorated, and they too have horn handles.

Namaste,
Jeff Paulsen

If Jeff got tic-tac-toe, and I have sun moon and stars, what must the ones Jay and Ghost got look like? (Will pick up some film and send pictures of sun moon and stars. Tried earlier but Polaroid film in camera was just too old.)

Uncle is right. Some may be prettier than others, but each was created for the person it ended up going to. Each has a unique character, each is different. Mine is mine and like no-one else's. Ghost's and Jay's and Jeff's likewise.

I don't know the name yet but it's not tic-tac-toe... I'll let you all know when it tells me. It really needs to be taken out and used for a while so I can get a feel for it, but it's so pretty I don't want to get sap in the grooves. This may be the only disadvantage to getting an HI knife

I took it out over the weekend to show it off a bit. It's going to take a while to find the right words to talk about it though. It does feel 'magical' in a very subtle way - it's not glowing or singing, just being a very special knife.

Namaste,
Jeff Paulsen

We will be waiting for pix, Rusty. I should have taken some myself I guess.

Thanks for input, all.
