So, You've had the Large CRK Sebenza for 10 mintues, NOW you want the Small Sebenza.

You labeling people "sheeple" means you already know they aren't going to get over it. Please use some tact when being an ambassador for the knife community. Proper knife use means not behaving like a silly mall ninja. Large knives don't have to be scary, so if you act with some decorum people will be far more receptive to large knives and then beautiful knives likes large sebenzas won't seem so scary. We must work on non-knife people one at a time.
You did not read my profile, did you? While sparse, I think it contains enough data negate being compared to any flavor of mall ninja.

Can anyone relate? Not sure if I will keep both. I just got the large Insingo today in the mail. I love it. Amazing knife/blade. It is slightly used. Great condition. Now I'm thinking it's too big for an EDC. A sometimes carry, but not everyday. I think people would get a little nervous if I pulled this out. hmm I'm hooked though! Love CRK.

...sounds like you're due for another impulse buy; this game gets expensive. have you actually held a small sebenza yet?

i think many get off on the ownership of a CR knife more than the actual, practical reason to get and use the knife itself. a $20 kershaw does the SAME cutting tasks as a $350 sebenza.

...having said that; it's your cash, you do what is necessary for you to do...

EDC? Depends on the situation. For instance:

Jeans = Large Sebbie or Lochsa
Slacks or Khakis = Small Sebbie
Church or Funerals = Mnandi

Bases covered :D

No, I haven't held a small. I had a Sage 2, great size. This large is too big, like I stated. It's not about having it. I don't get off on it either. Cheaper ways than plus $350 to do that. Many are free! :barf:

It's being sick of all these other knives that you buy, wait for, and when they show up you are disappointed. The F&F or QC is off. Sick of sending brand new knives back or in with issues. Quickly the dollar amount adds up and you are still not happy. So, being the responsible guy that I am, I sold off a few knives to afford this purchase. Thanks brother!

Patrick I just received a small Insigno. Almost 4 fingers handle in my medium+ sized hand. For comparison, Sage 1 has full four fingers handle (with choil).
It's a fine EDC.
Now I 'm wondering how big is my tommorrow incoming Starzaan. Or Tarzan? ;)

Regards
Dimitris

Awesome! I debated on the small Insingo vs. the regular drop point. The Insingo will be great to prepare your sides that you enjoy with Ouzo! ;) I've been trying to track your package with that number I gave you. All it says is that it last hit Chicago as an International letter? What the heck does that mean? I hope it didn't get held up!! Or is it maybe overseas somewhere just taking it's time? Tear.....they better get it done right for us brother!

Patrick

P.S. Let me know what becomes your main EDC in all of these nice purchases lately. Sage 2, small Insingo or Starzaan. Hope you love them all. Does your wife love them? :D

I'd like to eventually get several large Sebenzas, but I see that the blade length is 3.625". I'd like to be able to pass these, and my Umnumzaan, on to my sons in Colorado, but their state law restricts blades to 3 1/2", REGARDLESS of whether you have a concealed weapons permit to carry a handgun. I've confirmed that this is true, regardless of the lack of logic. With a CCW, you can carry a concealed handgun, but not a large Sebenza. The CCW law for handguns does NOT apply to knives, and the state limit is 3 1/2" blade-length. I have confirmed this with a large knife company in Colorado.
Whew!

It's sad. I'm sticking with my Small Sebenza and Mnandi for now. The Sage 1 is great also. I'd hate to spen this much on a blade and have a LEO take it from me, never to give it back....
