Congratz on the upcoming anniversary, but how about this for a great idea?

Instead of engraving "One year," how about "A notch for every year?" Then you can literally have a tally engraved for every year that you're sober. Every 5 years, you cross through 4 tally marks.

I think I'll put the date on the spot above the pocket clip that will be visible when the knife is in my pocket.
 
I was unconfused for a minute. Then you starting showing video shot in a mirror. Then I had to spit out my gum and concentrate. The only reason I thought it was a modified CUDA was the color and the scallops in the handle. Then I saw the thickness and the spacer. Definitely not a factory handle.
