Hi guys im located in southern california and i am looking for a store that would sell scales/handle material and mosaic pins. Something like Tandy's Leather for leatherwokers or Index Fasteners for Kydex Benders. Any suggestions would help.

You can go in and take a look at what they have. The carry only black and green G10 and I think black Micarta, several bone and antler types. They also have mosaic pins and some Kydex. They have a bunch of sanding belts thats for sure!

Since you have one down there, you might try Professional Plastics for some handle material. They should have scraps in their warehouse.

Don't overlook the knifemakers catalog suppliers. You can get nearly anything you want in a day or two. Most have a far larger selection than a storefront does. I think all of them are online, too.

Take all the money you have though, Scott and Ryan have some cool stuff. I never walk away thinking "I brought too much money!"

In addition to handles, etc, they have more belts than I even know existed, and tons of other cool stuff.

Next time I go, I'm getting a scotchbrite deburring wheel for my brand new very cheap buffer...

+1 on Tru Grit. I order from them often although have never been to their store. It would be a couple hours away for me. Their service is great. If I call in the morning I usually have it the next day.
