Thanks brother! I do indeed feel truly blessed, and a little slice of heaven is a good way to describe it. It's funny, I see your pics and I think the same thing. A nice piece of land where you can just step outside and be in it. That's how I grew up and I've come to realize that is probably the only way I'll ever feel at home again.

That was taken on the way up to the summit of Bandera Mountain, which is 5,240 ft (the hike was a 3,400 ft gain from the trailhead). The mountain looming in the distance is Rainier, coming in at 14,411 ft. I just checked Google maps, and it seems as if the two are about 40 miles apart as the crow flies.

Social distancing from the other side of the country (actually home though) than I've typically been posting from. Plenty of virus killing UV light as well.

Up for sunrise and out for moonrise is how we do it when we stay at the beach. Playing all day in between
