Socket Handle Knife ?

Hey Mark have ya ever forged any socket handled knives, I've often thought they would be handy for packing with a few survival supplies.

Hey Mark have ya ever forged any socket handled knives, I've often thought they would be handy for packing with a few survival supplies.

I have, but the pics are on my old laptop ( it crashed). I forged a few handles for David Farmer to finish out. He does a great job on his own now. I need to make a better drift to forge the handle around. Found a large piece of re-bar the other day, so when I get back to forging I will see what I can do....

I love socket handles--there is something so primal and utilitarian about them that you can't help but appreciate
