socom elite makes clicking noise

I have 2 new socom elite autos. One of them I having been flicking for about week or so now, about a couple hundred times. When I push the button to close it, it makes a clicking sound. Should I be concerned? If I hold the button down the whole time I hold it, it doesn`t make the click. My other one doesn`t do this. Anyone else have this problem or do you know what it is? Thanks, Roger

It sounds like the button snapping back into position might be the cause. If you hold it then close and let up easy on the button it wouldn't make the noise. That could be the problem or it might be something else. You will get more responses so lets see what happens.

I had a clicking prollem with my Socom Elite-A also. It turned out to the the free rotating stop pin. It needs a good bit of clearance to function properly. A drop of light weight oil solved the prollem just fine.
