Hey guys,
I have for sale a SOD with Al Welke kydex. I convexed the SOD and it has a screaming sharp edge and slices light years better than the factory edge. It has only seen some use in the kitchen and has no rust/ pitting/ damage etc... save for some nicks in the coating from being sheathed and convexed. The edge is highly polished and even. I tried my best to capture it well in photos. The coating didn't come off perfectly but It will make a fine user.
The kydex has a small superficial knick by one of the holes which can be seen in the photo's but but other than that is mint.
Ive owned several SOD's and with their factory edge they aren't half the knife they can be. If you don't mind the uneven coating near the edge you will have yourself a wonderful user that will heavily out perform the factory edge. I have convexed all my users and though the edges aren't always the prettiest when it comes to even coating removal, they perform
This is easily the most versatile blade the Scrap Yard has ever put out. I hate to sell it but I need to finance some other projects.
