Sodak - Negative feedback left, no deal transpired whatsoever

I'll keep this short and sweet.

Logged on tonight to a surprise negative feedback - the first one I've ever received despite over 150 positive iTrader transactions. The main information he gave in the feedback was "Was ignored." Checked the details on it and this is what they are:

Sent an email as requested in the thread, never heard from seller. Withdrew offer after 2 or 3 days.

I went back and checked my email, found this:

That's it, no other emails. He might have sent one, but the BF email system is fairly unreliable.

Bottom line: no deal took place whatsoever. Feedback is not warranted, not even close. Be careful dealing with this guy fellas, he must be extremely explosive and petty to do something like this.

MODS: when you see this, any chance one of you could send me a PM and let me know how to start the process of having this removed? I know only Spark can do it, just wanna go through proper channels.

And before someone mentions it, no, I definitely won't leave retaliatory negative feedback.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. Something must not be right with this guy!

Just went back and checked the sales thread. Looks like he posted something on 12/21 and edited it out on 12/23. Not sure what it said. I wasn't religiously checking the thread, especially with holiday things going on a lot. Wish he sent me a PM before raging out on me and leaving negative feedback. He is a gold member and has been a member since 2004, with over 5K posts. You'd think he would know better.
 
The feedback he left was "Was ignored". It doesn't sound like a mistake based on your story, but leaving it is certainly not appropriate. The question is, if it was intentional, is he going to be banned?

I'm fairly certain that he fully 100% intended to leave it. It's almost impossible to "accidentally" leave feedback. I'm not here looking for blood, but it certainly is a big inconvenience to deal with this. Whatever the punishment is... it what it is - this certainly was the wrong thing for him to do.
 
From what I can see there is no reason for feedback. Potential buyer has been here long enough to know this. Should be removed.

You will need to start a thread in tech support about this so Spark will see it. At least this is where I usually see these threads requesting negative feedback removal. Good luck!
 
Click the triangle next to the feedback. This reports it to the mods. They should remove it.

You are absolutely right. No deal took place so there is nothing to leave feedback about. Even if you made a deal, went through with it, then decided to undo the deal because one of you was unhappy there still technically, according to BF was not a completed transaction. Therefore nothing that warrants a feedback.
 
Think it's a 3 month suspension.
Report it and start a thread in Tech support....right away. Get that removed SAP.

After reading original post, I was going to put Sodak on my ignore list.....but I'm afraid he might give me a negative feedback. :D
 
Definitely report it to the mods. Sounds like total BS and totally unwarranted. Sorry you have to go through that. If he's a gold member, I don't know why he wouldn't just PM you directly if it was so important. Certainly doesn't warrant feedback when there wasn't even a deal or a beginning of negotiations for a deal, but there's no way it was accidental. Thanks for the head's up to the rest of us.
 
Unfortunately for sodak, the mods here and Spark are just too good.

Boru13 sent me a PM that he would take care of it, and not even 24 hours later, the feedback is gone! :D Huge shout out and thanks to Boru13, Spark, and the rest of the moderator staff! You guys are awesome.

No permanent harm done, but still a bit confused about this guy! Like I said, hope you all avoid the random wrath!

I heard a rumor, if you say his name 3 times with your left thumb in your right ear you will get an automatic negative FB!!

I have a feeling he's on a little "vacation," I could be wrong though! :D

I didn't communicate with him at all after receiving the feedback.
