Bob please quit with all the really nice scales and beautiful designs, I need some time to get funds together so I can purchase one of your slip joints.

This is one of the sweetest Sodbusters I've seen come out of the shop.. the Shadetree Herringbone is really something on this knife!

Hi Nick,

I worked it pretty carefully layer by layer on the grinder to 120. Then finished with 220, 400, 600 by hand. Switched to scotchbrite pads to put the satin finish on.

Thanks,
Bob

I don't mean to clutter up your thread, and I know praise doesn't pay the bills, but that knife is hauntingly beautiful. I can't get it out of my head. I'm not that big into traditional knives, but that sodbuster could change that. I just don't have the funds right now, or I would get it.
